Clay Play: Kurinuki Yunomi

$120.00

Friday, May 23rd, 6 - 8pm

Sliding scale pricing (use codes below):

$80-$100-$120

Join us for a one night handbuilding workshop where we will explore the practice of kurinuki!

Kurinuki is a subtractive process that involves hollowing a solid piece of clay to your desired form. For some it can be a slower and more meditative way to create from clay.

All participants will be provided clay and carving tools and will be able to make up to two pieces. After you create your work of art, you will choose from a couple provided glaze options and our staff will dry, fire, and glaze your piece for you. You will then be notified when your artwork is finished and ready for pickup, usually around 2-3 weeks.
