Do you need access to a kiln? We offer Community firing services for bisque cone 04 and glaze cone 5!

Read our list of what we require and what we do not accept for our firing to ensure your pieces qualify for our services.

Bring in your pieces during business hours, Tuesday-Sunday 10am-9pm, no appointment required.

The studio address is 800 S Weller St. However, our main entrance is located on 8th Ave South. When you arrive, call the studio at 206-571-6978 and we'll gladly let you into the building. We are situated on the second floor so plan accordingly when boxing your artwork. Email us at info@reclaimclay.com if you need assistance.

Firing times vary depending on our kiln schedule and how many pieces are in the queue. You’ll receive an email once your work is ready typically within 1–3 weeks. Please remember to bring your own box or packing materials when you come to pick up.

PRICING

$14 per shelf for pieces up to 6" tall

An oversize fee of $10 will be added for every additional 6" in height, or for pieces that are wider than 12"

We charge a $7 minimum for up to a half-shelf load. If you’re bringing in just one small piece, this minimum still applies.

You will pay for your firing when you drop off your pieces. We accept credit card, Venmo, and cash if you have exact change. We do not keep cash on site.

How to load a kiln for bisque versus glaze firings.

Note that for bisque firings, your pieces can stack and touch, but glaze firings require pieces to be separated. Do not expect to fit the same number of pieces for the same price between your bisque and glaze firings!
